Level 25 - Wyndhaven Side Quest

Zone: Wyndhaven
Quest NPC: Mr. Bail

Mr. Bail is a businessman and he has a problem. The wolves around Wyndhaven have become enraged and are scaring away his customers. Some people have noticed a metal glint coming off of the wolves, and Mr. Bail wants you to bring him a hunk of this metal. The enraged wolves are located in a gorge east of town. The density of critters in this area is pretty high, so beware of additional monsters joining the fight. When you show the metal to Mr. Bail, he is immediately taken aback by the smell. He directs you to find Danur Ironbrow, who is in the Hagley-Blakedown farmlands. More specifically, he is in Bear Cave zone southwest of the gnoll cave. Another way to find him is go north of the shadowhand bandits you killed on the level 17 quest.

Danur is in a bit of financial trouble and requests that you give him 782 tunar before inspecting the metal. He then tells you that the smell is from black powder and that the metal is part of a gnomish grenade. Returning to Mr. Bail gains you 971,662 experience, +10 Wyndhaven faction, and class-specific armor.

Notes: For a bit of humorous reading, select some of the other options that Danur gives you before selecting the 'right' ones. Also, if your faction in Wyndhaven is not high enough to get the quest, kill gnolls in Jethro's Cast or Blackburrow or bandits in the camps in Bandit Hills.
