Level 33 - Blakedown Side Quest:
Zone: Blakedown
Quest: NPC Johan Redsen
Johan has several mercenary missions for you that will assist the people of Blakedown. First off, the Glinandal want to rid the forest of a follower of Bertoxxulous named Keller; he is in Mayfly Glade, and his presence has resulted in undead appearing in the forest. They suspect that he is the pawn of someone more powerful, and seek more information. Keller spawns randomly in the area of the Glinandal fort which is due west of Forkwatch Keep in Mayfly Glade. When you kill him, you find a bloodstained contract, which Johan tells you that very few organizations issue.
Next, you are asked to buy some rare herbs for the town from Dominic Sorelli, a merchant in Highpass Hold. He is in the end opposite the coachman. The herbs will cost you 1625 tunar.
Johan tells you that Hawkblade mercenaries robbed and murdered a wealthy Blakedown merchant, stealing a golden idol of a mayfly that was a gift to the town from the Glinandal Druids. The Hawkblades were last seen headed toward Freeport; they are likely in Ferran's Hope by now. They are, in fact, in the middle of Ferran's Hope zone on the southern border. Another way to find them is to goto Bastable and swim south down the river until you see a burned out Blacktongue camp, at which point you go southwest to the top of mountian and you can con them from there.
Thankful for returning the idol, Johan has one final task: a Kelinar enchanter wants to know more about the Slithtar, and requests that you bring him the stinger from a Slithtar Defiler Prince. To find the prince, go to the Hazinak Temple coach and head west. In the Slithtar Hive zone, you will see a hive. From here, go northwest, and you will see an arch. The hive is slightly west of this arch and appears to be slightly larger than the others. The prince cannot be conned from the outside, but a Thornfiend on the top floor can. Kill the guards and enter, the prince is in the back of the first floor.
Upon returning to Johan, you receive 2,679,818 experience and an item out of the treasure chest next to him, which ends up being a class-specific tunic.
