Level 35 - Rin Tintoggle Quest:

Highpass

Rin used to have a lab, but his tinkerings were "unfit for gnome kind"; he had his license revoked and was banished. He created the heaviest armored clockwork ever with the dwarves, but they spilled ale on it and it went haywire. If you can stop it, Rin might be able to get back in favor with the gnomes. The Model LXI is near Moradhim, on a hill with a marker stone just south of the coach.

To help get reinstated by Klick’Anon, Rin wants to build a new clockwork, one with 8 legs. He needs a power source, and tells you to buy one from Merchant Samwe, who is located on the water plant outside the city. The super mana battery will cost you 2325 tunar.

Rin now needs the plans for the clockwork. He was so excited while traveling from Moradhim to Highpass that he drew up the plans as he walked using blue ink. He inadvertently wandered into Blackburrow and was waylaid by some gnolls. He needs you to retrieve the plans from the blue-pawed thief. The thief is in Blackburrow dungeon in a room just above the dwarf temple.

When you return to Rin, he tells you that he went ahead and built the LXIX without the plans. Of course, it went nuts and you need to destroy it and bring Rin the black box so he can find out what went wrong. The LXIX is a level 37 triggered spawn that pops up just outside of the city of Trail’s End.

Returning to Rin, you receive your reward of 3,768,632 experience and a piece of armor.
