Level 37 - Rigo Dartar Quest:

Oasis

Rigo is likely red-faced, but you can still talk to him. He tells you of the count in the tower that has menaced the lands around Oasis for many years. He is trying to become a vampire. Rigo has a plan to poison him. The Nasehir make a potent and undetectable poison but guard the recipe well. Your first task is to buy the recipe from the Taksehir. Seek out Gykard, who is outside the Taksehir stronghold that is due east from Oasis in Great Waste. He sells you the recipe for 2556 tunar.

Gykard tells you to get some powder from the Nasehir Poisonkeeper in the tunnels in Sea of Lions. From Oasis, go south over the mountains. The tunnel you want has manmade sides and lion guards in it. One of the side rooms contains the Nasehir Poisonkeeper.

Gykard now tells you to speak to Mardtirn in Freeport. He is on the outside wall; exit by the bank and follow the wall to the west. Mardtirn is in a good mood, so he won’t charge you for making the recipe. He tells you that he needs paste from the Deathfist Trader, who is located in the Deathfist Citadel. From Muniel’s Tea Garden, travel northwest to the large mountain. Follow the mountain around to the north and west, and you will see the citadel. The trader is next to the main building.

Mardtirn sends you to Elmo Haggar in Bastable Village for the final ingredient. Elmo tells you the story of Ferran’s Hope. That city was founded after a civil battle in Bastable Village led to the split of the villagers. However, Ferran’s Hope was ill-prepared to be on its own and was destroyed by orcs. One of the villagers was Elmo’s brother, and he had a lantern that was a family heirloom. Elmo will give you leaves for the poison if you return the lantern to him. You will find Ferran’s Hope due south of Bastable Village. The Blacktongue Ravager has the lantern; he is level 37.

Rigo mixes all of the ingredients and tells you to take the poison to Luvincius’ Servant behind the tower. Returning to Rigo nets you 4,140,484 experience and a piece of armor.


Note: If you cannot receive a quest, you need to improve your faction with the gypsies. You can do this by killing Nasehir, located throughout the Desert of Ro.
