Level 45 - Gate Guard Parilin Quest:

Castle Light Wolf - North Wilderlands

Gate Guard Parilin is on the ground level of the tower in the southwest corner of Castle Lightwolf. He tells you that a fugitive escaped through the nearby portal, and he wants you to go through the Black Gate of Muan`Diel and get him. The teleportation is very cool, and you end up in the ocean near a dragon's bones. Climb up the nearest rib and talk to Old Man Antiok.

Antiok says that he has seen another fall through and will tell you more if you help him. First, he needs you to kill a giant squid named Marrow Maw underneath the rib that has stolen his wife's ring. Marrow Maw is light blue and not difficult.

Next, Antiok tells you that some pirates north of the rib have been harassing him. Swim north and kill CPT Soohn. He has several pirates around him as well. All are light blue.

Finally, Antiok wants you to swim to the north to a lighthouse and bring him some coals. They will cost you 2900 tunar, but fortunately there is a merchant in the lighthouse where you can sell drinks to get the money.

Antiok now tells you that Akuion fell through the sky four years ago. He used to hang out on the rib with Antiok. However, Antiok soon learned of Akuion's evil ways--he had murdered someone in his hometown and used the Black Gate to escape. He has fled to the cultist's barrow in the far north.

Akuion is in the cultist barrow north of Forkwatch along the river. Most of the cultists are light blue and have a chance to see invisibility. You will find Akuion by following the entrance hallway to a room and taking the left hallway. At the end of this one, take a right (left leads to tomb keeper). At the end of this hallway, face right, and you will see Akuion and Amadon. Amadon is part of the Thenon the Wise quest. If you are careful, you can pull Akuion (level 45) by himself. Watch for the barrow ghouls that spawn in the hallway.

Upon returning to Parilon, he thanks you and sends you to Gate Guard Chastis across the hall. The reward is 6,722,242 experience, a weapon, and an ability.
